Bladerunner Farms, the world's largest privately owned zoysiagrass research and development facility, is proud to announce that Apes Hill Club Nursery, a licensed producer of JaMur Zoysia on the Caribbean Island of Barbados, now has this environmentally friendly turfgrass available for harvest.

Even though it’s the furthest island to the southeast in the Caribbean, which means a lengthy haul from Toronto, Barbados has long been one of the most popular tourist destinations for winter-weary Canadians. With a climate that almost guarantees sun-filled days, 27-32 degree temperatures, beautiful sand beaches on three coastlines, and outstanding restaurants, there’s little if anything not to like about this island.

The most environmentally friendly luxury home in Barbados is now complete at Apes Hill Club. The impressive 5965 sq ft villa has many eco friendly features including recycled building materials, a complete kitchen garden, a rubber roof, solar electricity and a wine cave.

On July 2nd Apes Hill Club sponsored the Charity Polo Cup held at Watership Down, the estate of Lord and Lady Lloyd Webber. The match was hosted to raise funds for the “Tusk Trust” supported by HRH Prince William as well as “Sentebale”, the trust of HRH Prince Harry of Wales.
