Golf Course

The golf course officially opened on December 5, 2009.  Reviews have been fantastic!  The natural beauty of the land, the quality of the golf course design, its condition and presentation results in a quality experience for Apes Hill Club Golf Members and their invited guests. Golf Membership in Apes Hill Club is currently being offered exclusively to Apes Hill Club Property Owners.  The course is open daily and access is restricted to Golf Members and their guests. Clubhouse

The Spring House/Sales and Administration Building has been renovated and transformed to serve as the Clubhouse facility to accommodate golf operations with a pro shop, changing rooms, dining and related services.  This facility is receiving extremely complimentary reviews from those already enjoying it.  Located in a very comfortable setting, the veranda of the Spring House affords fantastic views overlooking several golf holes and the Caribbean.  

The construction of the formal Clubhouse will occur; however, it has been postponed until further notice.

Polo

Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho will launch the Sentebale Polo Cup at Apes Hill Polo Club in Barbados on Sunday 31st January 2010.  The Sentebale Polo Cup will raise funds to support more of Lesotho’s vulnerable children and Prince Harry will play for the Sentebale team in the match.  Tickets are available for lunch or general entry.  Please call (246) 432-4500 or email info@apeshillclub.com for tickets.

A year of records!  2009 has proven to be a fantastic year for Sir Charles Williams and his Apes Hill Club Polo Teams.  Competing in twenty tournaments in the high medium and low goal categories and winning fifteen trophies has made it a memorable, exciting and record-setting year.   Among the many highlights, the Harcourt Development Queen’s Cup produced three weeks of hard fought matches between eighteen highly competitive teams.   The Apes Hill Club high goal team of Luke Tomlinson, Mark Tomlinson, Juan Gris Zavaleta and Charlie Hanbury managed to clinch victory in the final with a score of 12-11 against Sumaya in extra time.   Sir Charles proudly received the Cup from HM The Queen.   The12 goal team also won the Audi Awards Victor Ludorum in their category.

Garden Wall Villas

The twelve Villas of Garden Wall are complete; three homes are professionally furnished by Maryann Williams and are available for viewing on a daily basis.  The villas are semi-detached and have an average size of 3,300 sq ft with unobstructed views overlooking the 18th hole to the Caribbean Sea.

Moonshine Ridge

The owners of thirty-one premium lots located in Moonshine Ridge began construction of their first custom estate home in October.  Lot A-2, adjacent to the 10th hole boasts a beautiful design with an inviting floor plan over 8000 sq ft and is scheduled for completion in December 2010.

Cabbage Tree Green, Great Hill and Holders Meadow

Over the past three months, we have experienced an increase in the number of house plan submittals to the Apes Hill Club Architectural Review Committee.  The Committee has approved twenty residential home design / construction plans.  Many property owners have progressed their plans and now have obtained the required Town and Country Planning approval.  Several are out to tender, finding very competitive rates from contractors on service and materials.  In addition to Moonshine Development, we expect a number of homes to begin construction in the coming months.

Apes Hill Club is pleased to introduce to you its Project Management Program.  The program is designed to provide a ‘one-stop’ solution for owners at Apes Hill Club by guiding them through the process of designing, tendering, constructing and fitting-out their Villa.  

Our professional team will be on hand to assist you in making the important decisions required to deliver your villa. Including selection and appointment of consultants, development of the design brief and final design, selection and tendering of contractors, monitoring of quality, cost and programme during the project, administration of applicable concessions and interior fit-out to provide a ‘turn-key’ service.
